About Us
Polyethylene (PE) is conventionally produced from fossil raw materials such as oil or natural gas and is found in many everyday products that we all have come to love and hate. The EPA estimates that the USA generates over 34 million tons of plastic each year, and less than 10% gets recycled. In addition, 3 million tons of plastic film are landfilled each year, with less than 1% being recycled!
Recycling plastic reduces waste going to landfill and incinerators. Similarly, sourcing natural PE from a sustainable source, dramatically lowers the carbon footprint compared to traditional plastics.
GreenPolly aims to make a difference. Our wish is to consume and recycle otherwise discarded plastics turning them into a range of refuse and recycling bags. GreenPolly. GreenPolly is unique as it uses 100% post-consumer plastic.
